Dr. Chih-ho Hong was born and raised in British Columbia and attended medical school at the University of Toronto, graduating with honours, before returning to the University of British Columbia to complete a specialty residency in Dermatology. Dr. Hong also completed extra training at both Oregon Health & Science University and the University of California San Francisco in subspecialty dermatology areas, including cosmetic and laser dermatology.

Dr. Hong is recognized as a leader in dermatology both nationally and internationally. He has been an author on many peer-reviewed scientific publications and has lectured nationally and internationally on topics in dermatology. With extensive knowledge and experience in skin conditions, this has allowed Dr. Hong to provide his patients with the best treatment designs with outstanding results.

Dr. Hong’s current positions include Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia where he trains other physicians on cosmetic procedures and skin conditions. In addition, Dr. Hong maintains active membership with numerous professional groups including the British Columbia Dermatology Society, the British Columbia Medical Association, the Canadian Dermatology Association, and the Canadian Medical Association
