Dr. Cunningham is the co-founder of Maritime Dermatology and was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, Medical School, and Dermatology Residency, serving as Chief Resident, at Dalhousie University. She has been a practicing Dermatologist since passing her Royal College examination in 2017. She has been active in medical education and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Dalhousie Medical School. She sees patients of all ages and has a pediatric dermatology clinic at the IWK Health Centre, where she also supervises medical students and residents. She is active in research and has publications in high impact scientific journals.
