The Eczema Itch Research Study (52 Weeks)
Study Summary
Who Can Participate?
Adults 18 to 65 years of age who have eczema/atopic dermatits (AD), may be eligible.
Inclusion Criteria:
• Chronic AD for at least 1 year
• Moderate-to-severe AD, with AD involvement of ≥ 10% body surface area (BSA) equal to 10 palm prints
• Be candidates for systemic therapy, defined as a history of poor response to topical AD treatments, or for whom treatment with topical AD treatments is medically inadvisable
• Willing to use an emollient daily for at least 1 week prior to study enrollment and agree to continue using that same emollient throughout the study
Study Details:
• Participants will have regular visits with study doctors who are specialized in treating AD
• Blood and/or urine samples will be collected for evaluation at specified time-points
• Participants will receive investigational injected medication (active study drug) or placebo, in Part 1
• Reimbursement for study-related expenses may be provided
How Long Will the Study Last?
• Participation will last about 52 weeks and involve about 15 visits to the study research site
