Dr. Alison Ehrlich is a board-certified dermatologist who after many years in academic medicine, is now establishing her private practice in Washington, D.C. Following her residency in Dermatology, she completed a fellowship in Clinical Research and a Masters in Clinical Research through a combined National Institutes of Health / Duke University School of Medicine, Clinical Research Training Program. She is the former founding Chair and Director of Clinical Research in the Department of Dermatology at George Washington University.

Dr. Ehrlich continues to participate in and lead clinical research studies. She is active in dermatology leadership, having been past President of the Washington D.C. Dermatological Society, past Board Member of the American Contact Dermatitis Society, and past Chair of the Access to Dermatologic Care Committee for the American Academy of Dermatology. Currently, she is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation and on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. Ehrlich is also a Reviewer for the British Journal of Dermatology and the Journal of Women’s Dermatology. She has lectured both within the U.S. and abroad on psoriasis and contact dermatitis and has published extensively on these topics.
