Dr. Firouzeh Niakosari is a board-certified dermatologist and anatomical pathologist from the University of Toronto. She also serves as a consultant dermatologist to North York General Hospital and is actively involved in the training of family medicine residents and medical students in dermatology.

Dr. Niakosari received her medical degree and board certificate in dermatology from Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran with honours in 1997. She practiced in Tehran and Dubai for a few years before coming to Canada. Her experience in dermatology expands over diverse ethnic and racial skin disorders. She is a member of the Canadian Dermatology Association, American Academy of Dermatology, and the Canadian Laser Aesthetic Surgery Society.

Dr. Niakosari completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of Toronto, where she published her research papers in Archives of Dermatology, Archives of Pathology, and other peer-reviewed dermatology journals. She also served as a reviewer for Archives of Dermatology. Her research is primarily in the area of pigmented skin lesions and melanomas, and she has presented her research both nationally and internationally. Her areas of interest expand to psoriasis, acne, and laser and cosmetic treatments.
