Dr. Luvneet Verma, MD, FRCPC, FAAD, is a Canadian and U.S. double board-certified Dermatologist with expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ottawa and completed his dermatology residency at the University of Alberta, where he served as Chief Resident. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Verma holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and a Master’s in Accounting, reflecting a multidisciplinary background that supports a thoughtful, analytical, and evidence-based approach to patient care and clinical research.

Dr. Verma currently practices in Alberta, where he provides comprehensive dermatologic care to a broad outpatient population. His clinical practice includes the assessment and management of common and complex inflammatory skin diseases, including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, prurigo nodularis, acne, eczema, alopecia, and other chronic dermatologic conditions. His practice also includes procedural dermatology, skin lesion assessment, biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic dermatology, allowing him to identify and follow a wide range of patients who may be eligible for dermatology-focused clinical trials.

Dr. Verma is actively involved in clinical research and serves as a Principal Investigator for trials in inflammatory dermatology, including studies in hidradenitis suppurativa, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and prurigo nodularis. His clinical experience with biologic therapies, oral advanced therapies, immunomodulators, and real-world dermatology treatment pathways supports efficient patient identification, screening, enrollment, and longitudinal follow-up. His practice is well-suited for interventional and observational studies in dermatology, particularly those focused on immune-mediated skin disease, novel therapeutics, real-world evidence generation, and patient-reported outcomes.
