Dr. Mustafa Al-Maini is a senior clinical investigator and physician with over 20 years of experience in patient care and clinical research. He is one of the first Ontario physicians to be double-boarded Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and Allergy & Clinical Immunology, offering a rare, integrated perspective across immune-mediated and inflammatory diseases. 

Areas of experience and research interest include atopic dermatitis, chronic spontaneous urticaria, food and peanut allergy (pediatric through adult), rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, prurigo nodularis, and chronic pruritus. His work focuses on biologic and targeted therapies and their real-world application in complex patient populations.
