Dr. Thanu Ruban has a special interest in an integrated model of care for patients with arthritis and autoimmune diseases. She is an active medical staff at Oak Valley Health (formerly Markham Stouffville Hospital) and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Canadian Rheumatology Association, Ontario Rheumatology Association as well as American College of Rheumatology. For her advocacy work over the recent years, she was awarded the 2021 Early Career Rheumatologist of the Year by the Ontario Rheumatology Association.
